Marble Works, Inc. began in a converted dairy barn outside Stone Ridge, where founder Aldo Marchetti installed a single bridge saw and a hand-built polishing table. His conviction was simple: natural stone deserves to be cut by people who understand it — who read the veining before the blade touches it.

Nearly four decades later, that conviction still guides every project. Aldo's daughter and grandson now run the studio, overseeing a team of twelve fabricators across a 14,000-square-foot shop. The tools have evolved — CNC waterjets, digital templating, automated edge profilers — but the judgement is still human.

We work with marble, granite, quartzite, and limestone sourced from quarries in Carrara, Vermont, Brazil, and beyond. Every slab is selected in person, marked for its best face, and cut to tolerances measured in fractions of a millimetre.
